BEER members Dave and Brad Jordan, father and son duo, conceived Squarehead in 2009 while sampling an elderberry Ebulum Black Ale from Williams Brothers Brewing in Scotland. Dave, a longtime homebrewer, cloned the beer with his son and they were hooked. The brewery opened on October 20, 2018. The pair are Swedish and the name comes from slang for one’s forehead shape in Nordic countries.
