Founded by brothers Chris and John Trogner in 1996 after time spend homebrewing and working for other breweries. They’re grown considerably since their founding and continue to produce solid everyday beers as well as smaller one-off batches.

Beer #1: La Grave Triple Golden Ale

Style: Belgian Tripel
ABV: 8%
Flavor Text: Named after our fave French backcountry ski town, LaGrave’s rare yeast produces a rocky head releasing aromas of crusty bread and earthy spices. Our Triple Golden Ale carves out flavors of ripe pear, straw and black pepper with a dry, champagne powder finish.

Beer #2: Jovial Dubbel Ale

Style: Belgian Dubbel
ABV: 7%
Flavor Text: Originally brewed for Chris’ wedding, we decided Jovial was just too good a union of dark stone fruit character and evocative notes of toffee, chocolate and molasses to make only once. You may kiss the beer.

Beer #3: Dear Peter

Style: American Wild Ale
ABV: 6%
Flavor Text: Dear Peters family… We heard about the nectarines that were bruised in a hailstorm. Well, what won’t work at a roadside stand will be aces for brewing. We’re picturing a bracing sour with a sweet over-ripe nose. Brett for funk, lacto for pucker, and a spell on oak to bring it all home. Those nectarines? We’ll take ’em all.
